Navigating all of this can be a little complicated, at least initially. Magic Fill saves and remembers your usernames and passwords, for example AD Hunter blocks popups and ads Source Sniffer makes it easy to extract and save web content (music, videos, pictures) and Snap saves an image of the current web page with a click.īut if you need more, then there are plenty of extensions to help you expand the program's capabilities. Maxthon has plenty of other built-in tools. And you can extend this by creating your own mouse gestures for various common tasks. To move back a page, say, you hold down the right mouse button while moving the mouse from right to left. So once you've signed up for a free Maxthon Passport account, you can use "Cloud Push" to share web content like images, videos, text or links with other devices "Cloud Download" copies your downloads to the cloud so they're accessible from anywhere and "Cloud Tabs" keeps your tabs synchronised, so you can close a browsing session on one device, then carry on just where you left off on another.īuilt-in mouse gesture support allows you to navigate with a flick of the mouse. Maxthon is available in Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android versions, too (with tablet support coming soon), and the new "Cloud Browser" features aim to make the most of that. Its use of the Webkit rendering engine (as used by Chrome and Safari) ensures excellent performance, but the program can also display pages using IE's Trident for compatibility. ![]() The program aims to make you feel at home right away by importing your favourites from IE, Firefox or Chrome, for instance. Maxthon Cloud Browser is an unusual tool which tries to combine the best features of the competition, with plenty of new additions of its own.

If you are using the 2016 version of the Service Tool to reset a printer released in 2015, there are two possibilities that the Service Tool supports the printer or does not support the printer. If you use the Service Tool released in 2012 to reset a printer released in 2015, an error code 005 will appear, which means that the Service Tool does not support printers that are available. If your printer was released in 2015, then use the Service Tool released in 2015. ![]() If the printer Service Manual is not available on the internet, then how do you find out what Service Tool is suitable for our printer? Based on the results of our analysis, the easiest way to find a suitable service tool for a printer is to compare the year the printer was released and the year the Service Tool was released. In the Service Manual document, it is usually stated what version of the Service Tool is used to reset a particular printer. The easiest way to find out which version of the Service Tool is suitable for a printer is to read the Service Manual document for the printer being repaired. When the Service Tool is used and the error code 005 appears, it means that the Service Tool used does not support the printer. The first version of General Tool was probably released around 2002, then around 2008 until now, the tool used to reset Canon printers is called the Service Tool.īased on the data we have, the General Tool and Service Tool have many versions and each version is used to reset a certain type. Initially, the tool for resetting this Canon printer was called the General Tool. Using the Service Tool to reset the waste ink counter value becomes effective when the waste ink absorber is replaced or cleaned. After the waste ink absorber has been replaced or cleaned, repairs are continued by resetting the waste ink counter value. When the waste ink absorber is full, what must be done is to replace or clean the waste ink absorber. Based on the many cases we have encountered, the use of the Service Tool is most often used to reset the waste ink counter value when the waste ink absorber is full. Canon Service Tool is a tool used to perform maintenance on Canon printers and reset Canon printers after replacement of parts such as replacement of ink absorbents, replacement of print heads, replacement of printer mainboard, and others. Speaking purely as a newbie user to Emby, I would just comment that I don't think I will be changing over from Plex anytime soon, and the MrMC built in meta data, artwork does a far better job than Emby for my collection. I guess each has it's prerequisites for media structure, and my collection is more Plex friendly or something. Plex did far better at about 95%, and just got confused with classic 60's show Avengers and instead confused it with an animated show Avengers Assemble, and similar occurances. It only found correct artwork for about two thirds of my collection, and just inserted video thumbnails for the rest. I checked the Mac Emby server user rights, and everything was correct, but can not play any media, although the library list showed everything.īased purely on the media info of my collection of movies and tv shows, Emby does not do as good a job at finding artwork as Plex does. However, when selecting a movie, it does not play. (Tho never had to do that for TVOS client or iPad)Īfter doing the above, MrMC connected to the Mac Emby server, and could access libraries, and see metadata and artwork etc. ![]() Tried out MrMC, and had problems connecting to the Mac running Emby server.ĭiscovered that the Mac Emby server does not ask for user credentials during install, so had to add an emby local account into the server and link that user to Emby account. Tried out Emby client on the AppleTV4 itself, and it seemed fine. Tried out Emby client on my iPad, and again everything seemed fine. Tested media playback on the local host (Mac itself using the web interface) and everything plays fine that I tried. Setup the Mac Emby server, media libraries etc. ![]() I set up a Mac Mini as Emby Server, rather than mess with a perfectly working PC running Plex. Well, my initial impressions of the Emby native client, as a 'first' time Emby user. More Microsoft Remote Desktop Services Cons → The feature should be available for all versions." "The performance depends on connectivity." It's a bit heavier than some solutions." "Microsoft Remote Desktop Services is only available for the professional version of the Windows operating system. VMware has a similar solution that supports linked clones for the master image." "Microsoft Desktop Services is stable but it takes up a lot of resources in the CPU. It is a Hyper-V solution, and it doesn't support linked clones and uses a lot of storage. In Azure Remote Desktop Services (RDS), which is a VDI solution, we would like to see linked clones. However, it could be made easier to use for the end user, especially when it comes to activating it." "It could be made simpler from a management perspective." "We'd like to see more integration with other vendors." "Users have to re-enter their ID and password every time they log on, which is tedious and repetitive." "Its look and feel could be updated. "From the perspective of an IT professional, Microsoft Remote Desktop is very easy to use. It's a simple thing but when you're trying to get people to take responsibility and learn to take care of their own infrastructure, being able to just point at something while you're viewing their screen, as well as, take over their screen, is very valuable." There's a little laser pointer feature that you can pull up on the screen and say, "No, over here, click on this." That's very educational. We try as much as possible to train our staff to take care of their own systems and train our customer staff to take care of their own systems. ![]() I don't use everything they offer but you can go wherever you want to take this tool. ![]() It's got all the little drill-down details and capabilities to apply patches and other stuff like that. Over the 10-plus years, we've literally had no issues with it going down or with it causing any problems or causing issues when our end-users are trying to get access to it." "The most valuable feature is the ability for people to use LogMeIn's app that we install with our software, to bring us online with one click, so we can view their computer screens. "The vendor's reliability provides me with peace of mind. ![]() Additionally, TechSmith offers a 15-day refund window on all monthly subscription services.
